She received a Sports Emmy in Miami during her stint working at WTVJ-TV. She worked for WPLG-TV, Miami as well as WPEC-TV West Palm Beach. In 1993 she joined ESPN and was picked to be one of the first anchors for ESPN2 at the time it launched during the same year. The time she worked with ESPN2 was for three years.
