Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento
Ashton Blaise Whitty born October 1st of 1995. She was born in Berkeley California USA. She is an actor, well-known by her roles in Choices (2010), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006) and Chrissie Mayr's Content House (2022).
Asia Argento was raised in Rome by an actor and film family. She pursued both professions herself. She first made her debut in film at the age of nine in Sergio Citti's Sogni bisogni. By 1988 she was the lead of Cristina Comencini's Zoo and part of Michele's The Church. Red Wood Pigeon, the film in which she starred as Nanni Moretti's little daughter was released a year later. It was Close Friends by Michele Placido that made Asia's acting career take off. Cannes International Film Festival received the movie well. Daria Nicolodi is Argento's most loved actress, and she was portrayed as a teenage anorexic seeking to find her parents' murderer in Trauma. Asia has collaborated with Dario Argento on three films, Trauma, The Stendhal Syndrome as well as The Phantom of the Opera. In Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato a nozze, Asia's absorption style of intense acting was used well. In 1993, she was a co-star in the film Perdiamoci by Carlo Verdone di vista in which she played Arianna, a physically disabled girl. This was an intricate and difficult role that won an award from David di Donatello for most outstanding actress. She also played an important role in the international cast for Queen Margot directed by Patrice Chereau. The 1995 film she co-directed together with Michel Piccoli for Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio won her the David di Donatello award, and an award of Grolla oro. Asia began her directing career in 1994 and released two short films and an episode from the film De Generazione. In 1996 she directed a documentary about her father and AbelAsia, a film on the famous director Abel Ferrara. In 1998, Asia directed AbelAsia, which was awarded at the Rome Film Festival. Asia began directing her first feature film in 1999. It was Scarlet Diva. In the movie she also acted as the star and composed the script. In May of 2000, the film became available to the public worldwide. The film was awarded an distinction in Brooklyn at the Williamsburg International Film Festival.
